Full description

Ponta da Piedade is a maze of golden rock towers, natural arches and sea caves just south of Lagos. From the cliff top you only see part of it. From a small boat you go right in among the rocks, through narrow passages and into grottoes lit by the sun coming through the water.

The tour leaves Lagos Marina and follows the coast past Praia da Batata, Pinhão and Dona Ana before reaching the headland. Your guide points out the best known rock shapes and tells the story of the coast while the skipper takes the boat as close as the sea allows. It is a short trip, ideal for families and anyone short on time.
